Beach Trip

We took a beach trip to the Outer Banks with most of our family. We stayed in a big house and I had so much fun spending time with my grandparents, cousins, aunts, and uncles. We played on the beach, flew kites at Jockey's Ridge, ate a lot of good food, and just had fun inside.

First Real Haircut

I got my first real haircut back in April. I had gotten one in January, but they only cut two little sprigs of hair, so Mommy said that doesn't count as my first haircut. I screamed the whole time in January, but this time was more fun because they blew bubbles for me!

This is at my friend Riley's birthday party at BounceU. I had so much fun and went down the big slide by myself and loved it! I kept wanting to do it again!

This was taken on a cold day in April when Daddy, Paw Paw, and our neighbor Jason were putting together my new swing set.

Finally an update!!!!

Hey everyone! So I know that most of you probably don't even check my blog anymore since I haven't updated in 2008, but I'm back! I'll try to catch you up and show you lots of pictures! I started walking right before Christmas, and I haven't slowed down since! I pretty much run everywhere now. I am talking quite a bit now too! I probably have about 30 words or so, but my favorite ones are: no, hello, Oskar, more, elbow, and ice! I also LOVE being outside! I don't care what we're doing as long as I can be outside. I also love music and love to dance, especially the "chicken dance" and shaking my booty! My favorite foods are pizza and green beans and my least favorite are any meats except chicken.

My aunt Jennifer is now staying with us and I love it! It's so much fun playing with her and seeing her every day. She, Uncle David, and Oskar are going to move here as soon as their house in Charlotte sells. So she is staying with us until that happens because she already has a job here.

I know you probably want to just see pictures, so I'll try to put some up from each month so you can see what I've been doing. And I'm going to try my best to keep my blog updated, so start checking it again!!!

I painted some Christmas ornaments to give as gifts this year, and I had so much fun! They turned out pretty too!

Walking

Wow, it's been a while since I posted! A lot has been going on! I am now walking! I was taking a few steps here and there for a while, but right before Christmas, I really started walking! Now I'm everywhere, which makes picture taking difficult for Mommy and Daddy! Here are a couple pictures of some of my first steps!

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We went to Burlington and had Thanksgiving with Grandma, Grandpa, Memaw, Paw Paw, Aunt Jennifer, and Uncle David. After we ate, we walked to the playground and it was so much fun. The slide was ok, but my favorite was the swing!

Mommy let me have some of her milkshake and I loved it! I'm still waiting for her to let me have more!

Visit with Aunt Jennifer

Daddy and Uncle David were out of town for work recently, so Mommy and I packed up and went to visit Aunt Jennifer. We had so much fun! Aunt Jennifer took a day off of work and we did a little shopping. I enjoyed hanging out with Oskar, and I kept trying to share my snacks with him. I think I snuck him a few cheerios and goldfish when Mommy and Aunt Jennifer weren't looking.....
