We had a great Christmas. Christmas Eve we went to Paw Paw and Memaw's, and celebrated Christmas with them and Aunt Jen, Unkie, and Oskar. After that, we headed over to Great Aunt Sheila and Great Uncle Bob's new house to have Christmas with Memaw's side of the family. We came home that night so Mia could be at her house Christmas morning. I guess she was excited because she didn't sleep worth a hoot that night and actually woke up earlier than normal. When she saw her presents she said, "There's a big ole present!" And she was very excited about the Dora paper. It took forever to open because once she opened one present she wanted to play with it, and it was hard to get her to move on to the next present. I think we're going to ask Santa to leave them unopened next year! Later that day, Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle Greg, Aunt Nancy, Mackenzie, and Zach came over and we celebrated with them. Here are some pictures of Mia with some of her favorite toys.

Happy Halloween
Happy Halloween from our little ladybug! Mia loved her costume (probably because it's so girly and she truly is a girly girl). We didn't think she would be too into trick or treating, but she had a ball! We went trick or treating with our neighbors and they have a 5 year old and 3 year old who showed Mia the ropes. She would walk right up to the houses and say "trick or treat," get her candy and go on to the next house! She didn't want to go home at the end of the night!
She was so funny when we decorated pumpkins. She wouldn't put her hand in the pumpkin because she didn't want to get it dirty, so the only way we really got her to participate was to give her a big spoon! She really liked them after we were done though and kept trying to blow out the candle.

Pink Toes
On Labor Day, Chris had gone to help someone out that goes to our church, so Mia and I had fun painting her toenails. Now she constantly goes around saying "pink toes" and wants to show them to everyone. I think she's going to always want them painted because she loves them so much! She even sat still while I did it, and then used the hair dryer to dry them afterwards. She's such a girly girl! Chris wasn't too happy about it because he thinks she's still too young for that and said, "she's my little girl.....she's not supposed to have painted toenails!"

Will and Lindy's First Birthday
Will and Lindy turned one, and we got to celebrate their birthday with them! Many of you know them, or have prayed for them so I wanted to show pictures of their first birthday celebration. They have come so far and are the sweetest babies ever!
Mia enjoyed riding in their wagon.
Will and Lindy with their birthday cake! They both liked it, especially Lindy! Her whole face was pink!
The kids of the Asheboro girls (Berkley, Anna, Riley, Mia, Lindy, and Will). Poor Will is the only boy!
