Read to me Daddy

I love when Mommy and Daddy read to me, especially when I'm tired. That's when I really listen instead of trying to eat the pages!

Veggies

Well, I have started on vegetables now! So far I have had sweet potatoes, squash, and green beans, and I've liked all of them! I think I get to try peas and carrots next, and then fruits! I have to feed myself, so I make a big mess!

Happy Birthday Aunt Jennifer!!!!

Today is Aunt Jennifer's 26th birthday! Happy Birthday! Wish I could celebrate with you! Memaw and Uncle Greg had birthdays recently too, and Grandma's is coming up, so Happy Birthday to you guys too!

Getting Around

I have really come a long way in the last couple weeks! I can sit up now, and I've figured out that I can get around by rolling and scooting on my belly! Yes, I started out on the playmat!

Highchair

Daddy put my high chair together and I LOVE sitting in it! My favorite is when Mommy and Daddy put ice chips in my mesh feeder! It feels good on my gums!

Dedication

Mommy and Daddy dedicated me at church today! I decided to sleep through the whole thing, but I hear it was very nice. Mommy and Daddy chose I Samuel 1: 27-28 to read:

27 I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him. 28 So now I give him to the LORD. For his whole life he will be given over to the LORD." And he worshiped the LORD there.

Today is also Mother's Day so it made it extra special for Mommy!

Beach Trip

I made my first Beach Trip over the weekend! We went with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Greg, Aunt Nancy, and Mackenzie to Nags Head. We had a great time even though the weather wasn't very nice. We went to the Aquarium, Wright Brothers Memorial, Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, Jockey's Ridge, and went on the beach. I loved putting my feet in the sand! I can't wait until I can get in the water!

Mmm....Cereal

I started rice cereal this week! Mommy and Daddy didn't think I would like it, but I loved it! I gobbled up all they gave me. They couldn't get the cereal in my mouth fast enough! Next on the menu will be oatmeal and then veggies!
